VOLUNTARY ACTIVITY

If you are interested in improving your mark, you could design an advert on a poster, record it as if it were for a radio programme or present it in class using a power point. Just do it and tell your teacher.

speaking/listening practice and test

This first test of the second term consists of a ROLE PLAY activity:
Act out the roles of customers and waiter in a restaurant. Order your menu with all the information needed. Use vocabulary studied in class.
Listening task: as usual, you will have to understand a few things from a real spoken conversation in a restaurant.

As the aim of this optional subject is to IMPROVE your speaking and listening skills and provide you with as much practice as possible...
You will be tested on your SPEAKING and LISTENING abilities with all of the activites presented here.

IT'S TIME FOR EVALUATION

Those students in 1º Bach. group A who would like to improve their marks in 'AMPLIACIÓN DE INGLÉS' can do so by doing extra voluntary work:
- a simulation of a radio programme (remember the videos we saw in class) of about five minutes duration (groups of four students) -
-listening activity from bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish one of the following: 'scam mail' or 'sleepwalking' from the section '6 minute English'.
