As a class activity, during this week ,we'll be watching some fragments from the very famous film 'THE QUEEN ', based on the tragic event of Lady Di's car crash in Paris and the following turmoil caused by the Queen's reluctance to pay her tribute and give her a proper funeral.
You have some listening activities and speaking pairwork in the I.E.S. Miguel Delibes webpage, section of the English Department.
What is important about the film:
-Get some knowledge about the Royal Family, as they are still a very important element in the British society
-Balmoral Castle (Scotland)
-Royal family's outdoor activities
and of course, LAST but NOT LEAST: the pure BRITISH ENGLISH ACCENT just for the sake and pleasure of listening.

In my opinion the class was good, because was amusing and we learn new expressions.
